Cookies are small text files that are stored from a website on the device of a user. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies cause no damage to your computer and contain no viruses.
There are three categories of cookies:
• Cookies that are absolutely necessary in order to secure basic functions of the website
• Functional cookies in order to secure the performance of the website
• Target-oriented cookies in order to enhance the user’s experience
Most of the cookies used by us are “session cookies”. These are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can adjust the settings on your browser in such a way that you are informed when cookies are created. You can permit cookies only in individual cases or prevent them overall. You can also activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functions of this website may be impaired.
Member Area login:
At www.icf.at cookies are used in connection with Member area access (incl. a single sign-on for several applications). In this way, it is recognized, for example, that a user has already entered a username and password.
Server log files:
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically sends to us. These are: the browser identification and version communicated by the browser, the operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, the time of the server enquiry and the IP address (in some cases in anonymized form).
This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. This data is not merged with other data sources. We retain the right to subsequently check this data if specific evidence is made known to us of illegal usage.
For the statistical evaluation of the use of our web offer, we use Google Analytics.
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The service provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA – with whom we have concluded a usage agreement based on the GDPR.
Google Analytics uses target-oriented cookies. You can prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website by Google and prevent Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available from the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
For more information on how user data is handled at Google Analytics, see the Google data protection statement: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245
Google uses the “Activate IP anonymization” function on this website. This means that your IP address is abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other countries participating in the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and provide further services to the website operator in relation to the website use and use of the Internet. The IP address provided by your browser for Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Functional restrictions without cookies
You can delete cookies that are already on your computer at any time. The procedure depends on your browser type. Please consult your browser instructions (under “Help” in your browser menu).

When SSL encryption is activated, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
On principle, you reserve the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability and objection. In this regard, and for any other questions on the subject of personal data, you are welcome to contact us at the address given in the legal notice.
